Jeffrey Sloman → Jeffrey Epstein
Event Description
Sloman, in his prosecutorial capacity, stated that if CEOS (Criminal Enforcement and Organized Crime Section) decides not to pursue federal prosecution of Epstein, the U.S. Attorney's Office will close its investigation. Conversely, if CEOS disagrees with Epstein's position, Epstein shall have one week to comply with the terms and conditions of the September 24, 2007 Agreement as amended by United States Attorney Acosta.
Quoted Evidence
“As I indicated in my previous email, if CEOS subsequently decides that a federal prosecution should not be undertaken against Mr. Epstein, this Office will close its investigation. However, should CEOS disagree with Mr. Epstein's position, Mr. Epstein shall have one week to abide by the terms and conditions of the September 24, 2007 Agreement as amended by letter from United States Attorney Acosta.”

Reasoning
Prosecutorial statement of conditional outcomes contingent on CEOS decision-making. While the reference to an amended agreement suggests prior negotiation, this event itself contains no trafficking language or indicators-only procedural consequences tied to prosecution discretion.
